Time moves too fast...it just seem like yesterday she was just a little baby. I love watching her grow and become a little girl...a little person...but she will always be that little baby I held in my arms and rocked to sleep.
Always fun to shoot with seniors and be creative! Thanks to the Union on Eighth for one of our locations. Also discovered a new spot in Georgetown with jasamine vines that look great with a little accent light.
Congratulations to Cassidy on your graduation.
Recently was asked by Davy and Diane to work on a project with them. These girls have an amazing story...but I have to wait to share that with you. For now, here are a few photos from our shoot.
Alli contacted me to work on her portfolio. She wanted a mix of nature and urban settings. These are photos from the nature themed shoot. Looking forward to our urban shoot coming soon.
One of the things that I am trying (and really liking) is using older Nikon film lenses on my Canon 5D MK III. The look is very different and the bokeh is amazing!
Butterfly Entertainment helped to kick off Austin Fashion Week with Summer Styles at Sunset at Abel's on the Lake. It was a big event with three fashion shows and Avant Garde models in between plus live music. It was a fun night with great clothing looks and with cool creativity with Avant Garde models. I'm looking forward to more projects with Brianna and the Butterfly team.
(More photos are on Facebook under Butterfly Entertainment).
Owen's turning three and his parents asked me to capture some photos of him and his personality. Just before the shoot his dad asked me if I had my running shoes on...and then the fun began!
Right off I have to say...Owen was stylin'!! Seriously, how many dudes could pull off yellow pants with a purple shirt. Way cool! Then changed to a Henley. Props to Mom and Dad for his style.
We worked our way around the square in Georgetown and let Owen explore and I documented the adventure. Everywhere we went there were things to discover and he was in his own world. It was great! Birds, planes, rocks, grass, leaves...oh, to be a child again. Thanks Owen for the reminder of the little fascinations in life...for that is what truly keeps us young.
Here's wishing Owen and happy third and many more...
