Over 50 models came to the Austin Fashion Week Casting Call sponsored by Butterfly Entertainment at the Lanai Rooftop Lounge in Austin. There was a great turnout at this event with lots of new contacts for fashion and modeling. Below are a few of my favorite photos from the night. I'm looking forward to shoots with many of these models in the future...in fact, working with a few on an upcoming shoot with Southern Hippie in Georgetown.

Last night was the Bliss Bridal Magazine launch! So excited to have been a part of this issue. Looking forward to more staff and style shoots in the future...already planning the Fall issue staff photos.
Last year I had the honor of covering the Luling auction hosted by the Luling Foundation and published the photos and story in a previous post. This year I was back at the Luling auction but from a different perspective. I was literally "in the trenches." Thanks to the Lawlis family for this opportunity.
This past weekend I was invited to be a part of the Artist's Booth Teen Valentine's Dance. Kids were there from Gateway School, Georgetown High School, East View High School and other schools in the Georgetown/Round Rock area. It was a fun event that benefited the Fine Arts program at Gateway School. Below are a few photos from the event. More can be seen via an online gallery.
We have been long time customers of Breeze Salon and Day Spa in Georgetown. The girls and guys here have become like family to us. Over the years I've shot family portraits, birthday parties, fashion shows and Christmas parties for Breeze. This years's party was extra special as they announced a new logo and a new location in Round Rock. Here's to a great 2012!
